Cathedral Spires

Rising majestically above the south side of the valley floor, the Cathedral Spires grace the park with their unique splendor and granite beauty.  During the day from most viewpoints these graceful spires are invisible to the untrained eye.  Although you can see them from a few different places on the valley floor, the most impressive view is in the late afternoon from either the viewpoint at Columbia Rock or from the top of Yosemite Falls or Eagle Peak.
