The High Suspension Bridge Over the Dudh Khosi

Suspended approximately 150 feet above the raging waters of the "Milky River", prayer flags waving in the constant breeze, this bridge carries every person traveling between Lukla and Namche.  Time your arrival to avoid the morning crowds, or you may experience a long wait to cross the bridge.  On the other side are steep stone steps on the side of a cliff, then a long arduous climb of 2 to 3 hours up the dusty trail to Namche.
